ZILLIONe අත්වැල – Together We Can Make a Difference

In light of the 41st anniversary of ZILLIONe and the world children’s’ day, ZILLIONe organized Project අත්වැල in the objective of providing proper sanitary facilities and school necessities to the students of Ihala Omaththa Primary School, Elpitiya. Project අත්වැල is a CSR project organized by ZILLIONe focused on Ihala Omaththa Primary School, an underprivileged school in Elpitiya which was in dire need of sanitary facilities and study materials.  

Ihala Omaththa Primary School is a primary school in Elpitiya with approximately 35 students from grade 1 to 5. The school had a major hygiene concern as was did not have sanitary facilities within the premises. Hence, the students and the teachers had to visit the neighborhood.  

Addressing the school’s requirements, ZILLIONe took the initiative to visit the school on Friday 02nd October 2020 and donate school necessities and dry ration packs to the students of Ihala Omaththa Primary School. At the same time, ZILLIONe sponsored to build new lavatory facilities to the school. 

The project was fully funded and carried out by ZILLIONe together with the individual contribution of the employees. It was indeed a successfully project carried out by team ZILLIONe bringing more smiles on to the faces of the children, parents, teachers, and principal of the school.   

Whilst thanking everyone who contributed towards this good cause, ZILLIONe is looking forward to much more movements to make the world a better place.
