Intern – Business Analyst
We are seeking a motivated Business Analyst Intern to join our team. Reporting to the Lead Analyst, you will gain exposure across multiple business units, supporting the analysis and definition of solutions for our custom projects, internal products, and integrations with core business systems like Sage, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and other Microsoft suite products. This role includes hands-on project work and research tasks supporting company leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Lead Analyst in gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements from various business units for custom software, internal products, and integrations with systems like Sage and Business Central.
- Conduct data analysis (e.g., market trends, user data, process metrics) to support product development and business decisions.
- Utilize Generative AI and AI tools to enhance requirements analysis, solution design, internal processes, and research tasks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product managers, developers, QA, various business unit representatives) and other stakeholders to identify and solve business problems related to our software and systems.
- Conduct targeted research and analysis (e.g., market opportunities, technology trends) as requested by the Director.
- Prepare clear reports, diagrams, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including the Lead Analyst and Director.
- Support the business analysis aspects throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Interest in or experience with Generative AI and AI tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with diverse teams and business units.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- (Optional Plus) Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts.
